| Consignment.... What is consignment and how does consignment work? Bring us any items you no longer need or use and we will sell it for you! * when you become a consignor you receive a number so your items can be tracked * your items are labeled with your consignor number and what we feel is a reasonable selling price * your items are displayed in our store for 30 days and anything that sells, we'll give you 50% of the selling price What kind of merchandise do we sell? We can sell almost anything! Here are some examples: Antiques Collectibles New and Used Furniture Jewelry Household items Pots and Pans Glassware Linens Videos DVD's CDs But please do not bring us any the following: Stuffed Animals Clothing Children's toys Torn clothing Broken items Clear Glass How are your sales tracked? * all sales are recorded by consignor number and amount sold * within your 30 days, items that sell, are totaled and checks are cut for your percentage * checks and a detailed printout listing your items sold are mailed out at the beginning of the following month How are items priced for sale? * There are many factors that we take into consideration when pricing your items to be sold. The condition of the item, the rarity and even the brand helps us determine how much money we can get for your items * We want your item to sell after all; we only make as much money as you do What happens if your merchandise doesn't sell? * We give all items 30 days of retail selling space. If at the end of 30 days your item has not sold, you have two options: 1. You can come back to the store and we will give you your items back 2. We can donate your unsold items to a local charity. If you decide that you would like your unsold items to be donated, then we can provide you with a tax deduction slip for up to $500 ** Due to the large number of consignment requests, we now ask that you schedule an appointment before bringing your items to the store.
